Becky Addona was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and dedicated elementary school educator who passed away in 2017 after a brief illness. The Becky Addona TLC Fund was established in her memory to provide support for teachers pursuing innovative ways to Teach, Learn and Create. The fund’s goal is to reward teachers who employ “many varied and unusual ways” to reach ALL students at every level through exciting and challenging classroom experiences. As a result of initial donations to the TLC Fund, we were able to award $4,800 in grants to five elementary teachers from Geneva’s School District in June 2018 along with another $2,500 in 2019. After last years successful event we will be expanding the grants to be awarded to elementary through high school. 

Our family would like to continue awarding grants for many years to come. We would like you to consider sponsoring our first annual event with a monetary donation or a donation of goods or services. Your support will help fund future grants for Geneva elementary teachers, support local students, and defray the costs of organizing this fundraising event.

In addition to sponsorship levels, we are seeking in-kind donations such as gift cards, prizes, bottles of water, or food for participants after the race. In return, you will be listed as a supporter on the website and your company name will be displayed at the race registration area.
